Ashton Kaleigh is an artist and art teacher from El Paso, Texas. Her artwork has been displayed across the country and is in private collections worldwide. She offers art workshops and "paint and sip" painting classes in El Paso a few times a month. Ashton illustrated her first children's book, "Carmelita," by Meagan O'Toole Pitts in 2023. In 2025, Ashton released her first book, “Our Wild Borderland,” a field guide which she authored and illustrated herself which can be found in several local shops or purchased directly from her site or studio. She has completed a second children’s book with a different author, set to release soon, and has two more currently in the works. With over twenty years of experience, she paints with oil, acrylic, watercolor, and digital mediums. Her original paintings are figurative and surreal, using symbolism to address human experiences and social issues. She draws inspiration from nature, spirituality, and psychology. In her spare time, Ashton takes commissions for custom artwork, including portraits, murals, poster and album art, illustrations, and other unique projects.
